We met our sophomore year of college at the University of Richmond. At first we were “just friends,” but in time, Ursula was captured by Marc’s boyish charm. Ursula pretended to be interested in playing the guitar, and since Marc played in a band, he offered to give her lessons, (Ursula didn’t tell Marc that she already knew how to play the guitar until after their third or fourth lesson! Haha!) When we first started dating we were care-free college students who simply enjoyed spending time together. Over-time, through grad school, moves to Philadelphia, and eventually back to our shared roots in New Jersey, our love has grown stronger and stronger. We have been married nearly 7 years now and together feel we can conquer anything. We are each others’ rocks, strength, inspiration and life-long best friends.
Approximately 3 and a-half years ago God blessed us with our daughter, Gracie. She is a very happy, active child and would be thrilled to have a little brother or sister! The three of us have so much love to give, and hope to continue to grow our family in the near future.

| Family Life |
|
We feel so lucky to be part of such a loving family that supports us 110%! Family plays a huge role in our lives. We often get together with our parents, our sisters and brother for barbecues, birthday celebrations, sporting events, summer vacations, etc. We also love spending time together, just the three of us, (and our two little doggies, Max and Millie). We enjoy nightly family dinners, frequent trips to the park, the pool or the zoo, and lazy Sunday afternoons playing board games or watching a movie.
We are very involved in our Catholic parish, attend mass weekly, and are currently sending our daughter to Catholic preschool. We plan on raising our children in the Catholic faith. Throughout our lives we have been given great Christian examples of how to live with integrity and honesty. We take great satisfaction in helping others in any way we can. For example, every Christmas season, we serve food in soup kitchens together as a family to the poor. It is one small way we can help out!

| Lifestyle |
|
We live in a beautiful suburban neighborhood in Northern New Jersey. We are surrounded by lots of young families with children who are always out playing together or riding bikes. We have many parks, a beautiful community pool, and an adorable town just minutes away.
Ursula loves being a stay at home mom! She enjoys working on creative projects and taking classes with our daughter Gracie, and she is the class mom of Gracie’s preschool. Ursula also enjoys treating patients two mornings week as a physical therapist, during which time Gracie is thrilled to play at Mimi and Pop Pop’s house nearby.
Almost every night, when Marc gets home from work around 6pm, we sit down together for dinner, catch up, and then play a game or take a family walk together with our dogs. Daddy reads Gracie a bedtime story (usually about princesses) and then we relax before turning in ourselves. During the weekend, I guess we are like anyone else. We often go out to brunch on Sundays after church. We may just stay home and watch a movie…although Ursula always manages to fall asleep half way through, no matter how good the movie is!! We both love sports and occasionally enjoy a round of golf or a trip to a baseball game. For two seasons now, Marc has coached Gracie’s soccer team, “the Red Hot Tots.” We all have a blast running around on the field. It is total chaos, but lots of fun!

Adoption |
|
We feel called to adopt a child into our family. We are very blessed to have our daughter and would be thrilled to have more children. We feel comfortable with open adoption and are happy to communicate through letters, pictures, yearly visits, etc. Ursula plans to stay at home full time for at least a year. At some point she may return to working two mornings each week, and her parents are more than happy to babysit.

We offer nothing less than unconditional love, a supportive and generous extended family, and a truly wonderful home and community to bring up a child. We are all so excited to welcome a new little bundle of joy into our family and we can’t wait to open our hearts, share our love and to become parents again.
